NursingWiki:First steps
From NursingWiki
NursingWiki is thought to become a free collaborative textbook and lexicon for nursing information. As NursingWiki is a wiki, anyone can contribute his/her knowledge by editing articles. The articles can be linked among each other. Blue links will lead you to articles that actually exist in our database (e.g. NursingWiki). Red links will take you to articles that don't exist yet (e.g. liver). You are welcome to contribute your knowledge and start those articles.

Editing
When editing an article, you should know that usual HTML-tags are not accepted by the wikisoftware as it uses its own tags (see Help:Formatting). The NursingWiki:Sandbox is to allow you to carry out experiments. Please feel free to try your skills at formatting there.
To edit an article, just click "edit" at the top of the page, make your changes in the dialog box, and click the "Save page" button when you are finished.
If you don't know where to start, have a look at Category:Short articles which lists articles that should be enlarged.
Discussion
Every article has its own discussion-page, where you can ask questions, make suggestion or discuss about corrections. Click the discussion page tab to reach it. You can sign your message by writin 4 tildes (~~~~). The wikisoftware turns them into the current time and your username.
History
Every edit is saved in the article's page-history. The page-history shows how the article grew and which user edited it.
